Question: What is the meaning of life? I’m looking for different outlooks from different people. I believe that this is the ultimate question which no one will ever really know the answer for. I want to know your thoughts on “life”. Here are my other questions: Is there anything beyond doubt in this world? SInce Descartes says only that what we think is what we “know.” Do you think this is true? Of course! Therefore you know one thing that you are doing, and you can’t really “not think” unless you’re dead. I’m asking all these because it seems I have lost the meaning of life. I started out applying for mba scholarships for women since I really wanted to take a postgraduate course. But it seems luck wasn’t on my side. I wasn’t accepted in all of my applications.
Answer: What I have done is bridged the gap between necessary thought (because we do exist), and therefore our necessary purpose. Our purpose is to think or to exist. That’s it. That’s all we can be sure of. Every day that you live you get to experience the beautiful joy of knowing that you are one day closer to becoming ashes or worm food. That just about sums it up. But honestly? The true meaning of life is to have bad times and good times. The meaning of life is to live it, try thinking what is the meaning of death. Try doing this and it puts a whole new outlook on the living part.
Reality is, life means having as much fun as you can and doing everything in this world that makes you happy. Life goes on. Maybe the college scholarships for women you applied for are not enough. There are so many other institutions that you could still apply for. Life is doing what makes you feel good, special, and fulfilled. Life is enjoying the ups and learning from the downs.
